VIAPONTE - Projectos e Consultoria de Engenharia, S.A. is an engineering consulting firm specialized in multidisciplinary projects and large scale project management in the sectors of transportation, special structures, buildings and urban infrastructures.

The Company’s technical sectors are headed by engineers with large experience in the field, assisted in each area of expertise by an experienced staff, using modern computer hardware and software. The Company has the know-how to undertake the management of major projects, with emphasis on cost-effective solutions and strict budget control.

VIAPONTE operates under a strict Quality Management System, which is founded in the principles and standards of the NP EN ISO 9001:2000 Regulations. The company is also certified by the National Civil Engineering Laboratory (LNEC), as Quality Manager of Construction Contracts.

Specialist firms and consultants provide technical assistance on a permanent basis in various fields complementary to the Company’s own areas of expertise, but when the size and the complexity of the projects require, the Company forms joint ventures with other consulting firms.

The international experience gained by its senior engineers, either in projects undertaken overseas or in joint ventures with foreign companies, guarantees an effective service to its clients, in international projects.

In order to operate in the international market, VIAPONTE formed a joint-venture called ENV – Consult, involving other Portuguese and Spanish consultants operating in the areas of civil and industrial engineering, geographic engineering, architecture, planning and also business and institutional consultancy.

VIAPONTE has permanent offices in Lisbon and Luanda (Angola), where the majority of its projects are done, although the Company has already undertaken work in other regions, namely Madeira, Azores, Macao, Ireland and Romania.
