Project Management
Since the formation of VIAPONTE we have been extensively involved in large scale PPP projects. We soon had a major involvement in such projects, assuming the role of General Coordinator of the entire technical areas of these projects, specifically in Engineering Design. This involvement covered the Competition/ Tender stage, as well as the Implementation/ Construction phase of the Concessions.
Viaponte has created a specific department to carry out Coordination and Design Management services, consisting of staff with extensive experience and expertise in various disciplines. A dedicated team is established for each project, playing a key role throughout the project development process, including:
- Directing, supervising and checking the studies and designs of all design teams
- Coordinating the relationship between the Contractor and the design teams, to achieve optimized solutions
- Developing, along with the Client, the technical solutions that ensure global economic and financial balance of the project
- Liaising with the relevant Local Authorities in order to ensure that technical solutions will obtain all necessary statutory approvals
- Financial control of all aspects of design
We also provide full Project Management services acting directly for the Client in planning, designing and executing the projects. By providing skilled design and effective management, we guarantee the Client total control over the direction of the project.
Our emphasis is on delivery, always adopting a proactive attitude to promote fluent communications between all parties involved in the project, in order to meet Client requirements, both on time and within budget. In addition, our knowledge of the design and construction process, allows us to bring relevant technical experience to a project, ensuring a cost-effective delivery of the projects.
